Tranter SUPERCHANGER® plate heat exchangers are gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers designed for efficient heat transfer between two media in industrial, commercial, process, marine, and energy-related systems.
The SUPERCHANGER® product family uses a modular plate-and-frame design that allows the heat exchanger to be configured around the thermal requirements, flow characteristics, pressure drop considerations, and service needs of the application.

This gasketed plate heat exchanger family includes multiple plate series designed for different operating conditions and process requirements. Available series include GT, GX, GC, GL, GF, and GD configurations, each supporting specific application needs such as close-temperature-approach duties, unbalanced flow conditions, low pressure drop requirements, wide-gap passage needs, and double-wall separation where fluid intermixing must be avoided.
SUPERCHANGER® heat exchangers are commonly used where facilities need compact, serviceable heat transfer equipment for heating, cooling, heat recovery, process temperature control, and fluid-to-fluid thermal exchange.
The plate-and-frame construction allows the unit to be adapted through plate selection, gasket arrangement, and frame configuration, while maintaining the technical distinction of a gasketed plate heat exchanger rather than a shell-and-plate or welded block design.
