Republic Manufacturing’s Rotary Claw Vacuum Pumps are dry-running, positive displacement vacuum pumps designed to provide deep vacuum up to approximately 28″ HgV with exceptional reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.
Ideally suited for oil-free applications, these pumps are single-stage, air-cooled, direct-driven, and engineered for continuous duty operation.

Republic Rotary Claw Vacuum Pumps utilize high-precision machined claws that rotate synchronously without contact. The non-contact design minimizes wear, extends service intervals, reduces downtime, and contributes to reliable long-term operation. Their compact and simple construction also makes the pumps easy to install and maintain.
Republic Rotary Claw Vacuum Pumps deliver strong vacuum performance at higher efficiencies than many comparable vacuum technologies. The claw design provides efficient air compression while reducing energy consumption, helping lower operating costs without sacrificing vacuum performance.
Built for demanding industrial environments, Republic Rotary Claw Vacuum Pumps provide steady, reliable performance for applications including pneumatic conveying, packaging, central vacuum systems, vacuum hold-down, food processing, printing, medical and laboratory systems, woodworking, and other industrial vacuum processes.

Working Principle
Rotary claw vacuum pumps are dry, positive displacement pumps consisting of a pumping chamber and two counter-rotating, synchronized, non-contacting claws.
Gas enters through the inlet and passes through an inlet screen before entering the pumping chamber. The precisely machined claws rotate without contacting one another. The small gap between the claws compresses the gas, creating a higher pressure on the discharge side than on the inlet side. The oil-free gas then exits through the discharge silencer.
