Process Controls Corporation - L&J Technologies

The L&J Technologies 94530-3A Snap Action Vacuum Vent is used for liquid storage tank applications where controlled vacuum relief is needed to help protect tank systems from excessive internal vacuum conditions.

This snap action vacuum vent permits air to enter the tank when the internal vacuum exceeds the vent setting, supporting pressure/vacuum control in applications where predictable vent opening is important.

Unlike standard vacuum venting equipment that may open gradually, the 94530-3A uses a snap action design to provide full opening at the set point.

Process Controls Corporation - L&J Technologies 94530-3A Snap Action Vacuum Vent

The vent remains tightly closed below the vacuum setting and under positive pressure, helping maintain tank system closure until vacuum relief is required.

This design is also used as a replacement option for ruptured discs in systems where pressure spikes can cause premature disc opening.

The 94530-3A is designed for installation into the tank nozzle and is available for standard API and ANSI connections. It supports liquid storage tank protection strategies where vacuum relief, tight sealing, and defined opening behavior are important considerations.
