The EKATO ES-V Side-Entry Agitator is a side-entry agitator designed for use on storage tanks. Installed laterally on the tank, the ES-V provides an agitator configuration suited for storage vessel applications where side-mounted mixing equipment is preferred over top-entry arrangements.
This product family is distinct from EKATO’s standard ES side-entry agitators, ES-SW swivel agitators, and HWL agitators for flue gas desulfurization service.
The ES-V design includes a mechanical seal arrangement and a device that allows seal maintenance or replacement while the vessel remains filled.
Its coupling design also supports seal servicing without lifting gear or drive-unit disassembly, based on the configuration described for this product line. Standard design elements include a mounting flange and shut-off device.
For product-wetted construction, the ES-V is listed with rust- and acid-resistant steels and Duplex steels.
The product specifications identify motor power from 1.1 to 15 kW, shaft diameters from 40 to 60 mm, operating pressure from atmospheric to 3 bar, and the EKATO Propeller as the supported impeller system. The ES-V is also listed with GOST TR-ZU 010/2011 approval.
