OMEGA Thermo Products Laser Plates are laser-welded pillow plate heat exchangers used in industrial thermal processing equipment, tanks, panels, and fabricated assemblies.

Each plate is produced from two metal sheets welded in a defined pattern, with the edges sealed to create a pressure-tight barrier. After forming, the plate is inflated to create an internal channel for the heating or cooling medium.

Laser Plates are available in single embossed and double embossed configurations. A single embossed plate has one smooth side and one pillow-patterned side, making it suitable for tank walls, hygienic surface requirements, and other applications where one flat contact surface is needed.

A double embossed plate has a raised profile on both sides and may be used where both faces are part of the active heat transfer area. OMEGA also uses double embossed plates in product families such as falling film chillers, ice banks, ice machines, and immersion products.

Because each Laser Plate is custom-made, the final design depends on the application, capacity requirements, equipment layout, and operating conditions. Material grade, plate thickness, weld pattern, pressure requirement, connection placement, and overall geometry should be evaluated as part of the specification process.
