Burgess-Manning Filter Silencer

Burgess-Manning filter silencers are used on air intake systems where both filtration and intake noise reduction are required.

These filter/silencer assemblies are designed for intake service on compressors, blowers, engines and gas turbines, helping address airborne particulate filtration needs while also reducing intake noise from the source.

The Burgess-Manning Series A and Series B filter silencers are available in standard model configurations with sizes ranging from 1,500 to 48,000 CFM. Depending on the selected configuration, units may be used with single or dual-stage filtration.

The Series A housing is designed to accept a conventional 2-inch-deep single filter element or two 2-inch-deep filter elements in series for more critical service. The Series B housing is designed for a 12-inch-deep high-efficiency single filter element, with the option of an additional 2-inch-deep pre-filter element in series when required.
