Canty Process Technology Sugar Pan – SugarScope™ System

The Canty Process Technology Sugar Pan – SugarScope™ System is a process imaging system for monitoring sugar crystallization within a vacuum pan.

An insertion-mounted camera combines with Canty fused-glass process-barrier and lighting technologies to provide a continuous microscopic view of crystal development from initial seeding and nucleation through full crystal growth.

The insertion design views crystals within the process rather than only at the vessel wall, where boundary-layer conditions can affect crystal behavior.

Available optic configurations accommodate sugar sizes ranging from fines through large grains.

Optional CantyVision™ image-analysis software adds particle size and shape characterization during the initial stages of crystal growth, including Mean Aperture (MA), Coefficient of Variation (CV), particle counts, and concentration over time.
