What is Ion Specific Measurement?

Ion-specific measurement is an analytical method used to determine the amount or activity of a selected ion in a liquid sample. Using an ion-selective electrode with a compatible meter or titrator, this technique provides fast, reliable results for ions such as fluoride, chloride, sodium, potassium, calcium, nitrate, and others.

It is widely used in laboratory, field, environmental, food processing, biomedical, and industrial applications where accurate ion concentration measurement is required.
